This tree skirt will measure 48" in diameter, when finished I have segmented the appliquéd pieces into easily managed "pie shaped" sections that get sewn to the backing once complete I used wool felt to make this piece, but you could also use wool Suitable for sewists with a basic knowledge of hand sewing and embroidery. NO sewing machine required for this project. This is completely hand stitched The instructions include many black and white photos, drawn illustrations and step by step instructions for the placement of each appliqued piece on this tree skirt.
